This week in cybersmarts our task was to choose a country for the summer learning journeythats coming up. So there were some questions on the site and we had to answer them.

TASK: Our task today was to find a piece of work in our google drive that we did at the end of last term and publish it to our blogs.

Term 4 summaries

- Night on the reef

This week our book is called “ Night on the reef “. This book is about a young eight year old boy who lived in a place named Savai ‘ i. The boy  longed to go fishing with his father. One night the boy and his father set out one night to go fishing. The young boys father hooked down the anchor and the child held the light. A storm started to swarm in and the child thought that he was about to drown while the waves swept over him over and over again as he called out for help but it came of no use until finally the boy’s father called out to him. The child climbed into his father's back as they swam out to a huge rock for a rest as they prayed to god to help them find their Canoe. Suddenly from out in the distance was their Canoe. The young boy and his father had cuts and bruises all over them but they made their way back home in the end.
